Note that these guys are just contrarians. They are anti-whatever-the-mainstream-is. Whatever the current mainstream or leading diet proposal, these guys latch onto a conspiracy theory diet fad that is opposite of it. Firstly, Kallio et al (2011) is one study based on one person where the authors themselves concede that this is the one and only paper that even suggests there is auch a thing as a hypnotic state. I quote: So far, no hypnotic state fulfilling objective empirical criteria has ever been convincingly demonstrated. Consequently, a special altered hypnotic state is currently considered by some researchers to be merely a popular myth in psychology. [Kallio et al; 2011; p.1] Read the paper, not a story about the paper. The result from Kallio et al needs to be replicated and with a sample of n > 1 One paper, based on one person is not sufficient to overturn all the preceding studies which indicate that there is no such thing as a hypnotic state. Science doesn’t work that way.
