These cross-class encounters will be more and more common as the middle class has the rug pulled out from under them and their comfy blanket pulled from their grubby fat hands…SWPLs will face the reality and pressure of downward class mobility, and they are ill-prepared (both right-leaning and left-leaning ones) to survive that experience when they will have to move into ‘lower class’ neighborhoods. Left-leaning fallen SWPLs will try to declare themselves the champions of the lower class folks, and they will get smacked down from their imaginary high horses by those who really run shit in the urban jungles.
